Collection: Memory Botanicals

Memory Botanicals explore familiar natural forms through layered paper, color, and atmosphere. Rather than describing plants literally, they reduce them to recognizable silhouettes that emerge from and dissolve back into the painted surface.

Each painting is assembled slowly through layers of paper, paint, texture, and time. I am less interested in describing the world than in preserving the traces it leaves behind.
